I ordered these to use to clear some thorny weeds. They are just perfect for the task. They do come up to my elbows, not sure if they are meant to be this long, but the more coverage the better. I usually wear a small so the medium is a bit big in the hand for me, but getting the length to cover my arms is a good trade off. I love these gloves, great purchase.

I wear a smart watch when I’m gardening and there’s no way I want dirt getting anywhere near it. So I started buying these types of gloves to offer protection. Of the 3 pairs I bought in the last few years these are by far the best. Extremely comfortable, extend all the way up to my elbow, a great bright color so I can’t misplace them, and they fit my hand just fine with a little room at the tip of my fingers. I can’t speak to thorn or cactus resistance because I have not found ANY gloves that are completely infallible. I’ve just learned to be as careful as possible when I’m relocating or tending to my cactus’. For the money, these are gonna be great & I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering a second pair to keep in the front yard.

I am very happy with these gardening gloves. I originally purchased them to shield against poison ivy, but I have found them to be much more versatile, so I wear them every time I work in the yard. The fingers fit so snugly that fine motor skills are in no way hampered, and they come up to my elbows, so my forearms are completely protected from thorns and poison ivy. My hands and fingernails stay clean and safe from cuts and scratches. Love them!
